Quand cette belle famille pleine d’énergie m’a contacté afin de réaliser une séance photo d’eux et leurs jumeaux au bord du lac de Neuchatel je n’ai pas hésité une seconde.
Le temps était assez incertain et l’eau des lacs de Suisse est assez fraiche; je ne savais donc pas si nous allions tous terminer à l’eau ou faire une ballade sur la rive… Malgré la bise du nord cela n’a empêché personne de se priver d’une petite baignade rafraichissante suivi d’une belle ballade en bateau à rame au coucher du soleil… Même une famille de cygnes nous a faire l’honneur d’une petite visite lors de la séance pour le plaisirs des petits comme des grands…
Comme on dit la bas: « il y a pas le feu au lac, hein!!! », la vie est douce et agréable au bord du lac de Neuchâtel.

AN INTIMIST SPANISH WEDDING UNDER THE OLIVE TREES
P&M said “I do” under the Spanish sun, in the Andalusian countryside. A breathtaking location surrounded by hills covered of olive trees.
Just picture an old local structure, standing alone in the fields, revealing itself like a mirage. A bridal couple meeting secretly in the shade of an olive tree. A lay ceremony marked with the original sharing of an “éclair au chocolat” and a whisky shot in a cool vaulted hall. A joyful cocktail hour hosted in the patio where local delicacies were served, followed by an outdoors moonlit dinner … Are you there with me?
This is the summary of P&M’s magical day, which could have been a dream, but which was nothing but real. Fans were the must-have accessory on this intimist wedding in Spain which sangria and “tinto de verano” (a mix of red wine, lemon juice and soda- YUM) kept all guests refreshed despite the 40°C displayed on the thermometer!

A COLORFUL PARISIAN WEDDING
AN ALTERNATIVE ROCK’N’ROLL FESTIVAL WEDDING
J’avais déjà rencontrée cette magnifique tribu pour une séance en famille très rock’n’roll quelques mois avant le grand jour. L’ambiance était donnée: de l’énergie, du rock et plein d’amour. Leur belle journée c’était fin Aout et on se serait plus cru à un festival de rock entre amis qu’à un mariage.
Un mariage tout en extérieur, un dress code très coloré, une cérémonie improvisée avec des shot de tequila pour terminer en beauté avant le concert de rock du groupe du marié qui a fait swinguer tous les invités jusqu’au bout de la nuit. Pas de diner assis mais des grandes tablés réunies autour du wine truck et du camion à pizza. Une journée de mariage atypique en petit comité à l’image d’un couple très cool et rock’n’roll!!!

A TROPICAL OUTDOOR WEDDING IN RIO DE JANEIRO
Infinitely lush tropical greenery surrounding and a head over heels couple, J&K tie the knot in a magnificent villa amidst Rio de Janeiro’s hilly tops.
An unconventional get together Brazilian style with a beautiful and moving ceremony followed by a blend of caipirinha cocktails and melodic bossa nova tunes set the rhythm for the dance floor. Throw away the sit down dinner and all the formalities that go with it, instead find a buffet with an assortment of traditional foods to delight the guests curiosities. With the grand swimming pool right beside the dance floor it comes to no surprise many hopped in, including the newlyweds!
The incredible view of the city, a bossa nova saxophonist, professional samba dancers and all the Carnival masks around, none could forget that a wedding in Rio is not just like any other! As a souvenir a pair of Havaianas for each guest, personalized with the couples initials. Heels and dress shoes off, flip flops were all the rage by the end of the night.
As they say in Rio: todo bom, e legal!!
WEDDING DAY IN THE FRENCH COUNTRYSIDE
A&J When a stunning red head and a man as tall dark and handsome as the saying goes get married it’s definitely worth the detour!!
A&J said yes in the heart of the Beaujolais on a magnificent domain lost in an eternal sea of vineyards. A harmonious day spent close to nature, with hints of elegant beiges and powdered pinks all around. Perched on the hills a countryside chapel appears, the sounds of which resonated miles away. In the back of an old convertible Range Rover they headed to their castle. There a magician charmed all while animated crowds chattered joyfully and drank cocktails.
The setting rooted in a more ancient rustic past along with vintage bits and pieces scattered around alluringly conveyed the impression of going back in time. This bohemian chic spirited wedding terrifically erupted on the dance floor while the two lovers swung to rock n’ roll all night.

FEW MONTH AFTER GASPARD ARRIVED
Quand un couple dont tu as fais le reportage de mariage te recontacte pour une nouvelle séance cela fait toujours très plaisir!! C’est toujours une joie pour moi de suivre des familles dans les différentes étapes importantes de leurs vie…
J’avais donc fais le reportage photo de la belle journée de mariage d ‘A&F dans le sud de la France il y a maintenant deux ans.
Ils m’ont recontacté il y a quelques mois pour m’annoncer la naissance de leurs premier enfant et ils désiraient pour l’occasion un reportage de moments de moments complices en famille. C’est donc avec joie que je les ai retrouvés à nouveau il y a quelques jours et ai pu rencontrer le petit Gaspard. Apres un moment d’observation intrigué par mon objectif, Gaspard s’est prêté au jeu de la séance et voici donc le joli reportage pleins de câlins, de bisous et de tendresse qui en découle.

Une séance en toute simplicité à Buenos Aires avec une magnifique famille franco-Argentine qui n’arrête pas de s’agrandir.
J’avais déjà eu la chance de rencontrer Laeticia lors d’une séance photo pour l’arrivée de sa petite fille. Entre temps Nina à grandit et les voila à nouveau réunis devant mon objectif en attendant l’arrivée d’un nouveau membre de la famille…

FOODTRUCKS AND ANTIPASTI FOR AN ITALIAN WEDDING
A wedding story coming straight from Roma, si si si!!
This wedding is a fair, a food truck festival, and reunion of family and friends from all around the world. Being huge lovers of good food, C&S created their own Street Food festival with Italian food trucks, table football games and groovy photo booth.
Handmade colorfull decorations, guest playing games and hanging around with animal masks, endless antipasti and a flowing river of prosecco. A street food cocktail followed with an outside bohemian stylish diner and a dance floor party in a very cool art studio.
The relaxed & farniente atmosphere of the day makes everybody think that this is the famous italian « dolce vita » !!!

INTIMATE WALK IN GREENHOUSES
N&T wanted to meet my camera before their wedding. As nature lovers, the instructions were simple: green, green and more green! A not so surprising decision for a couple originally from Madagascar, an island known for its impressive tropical wildlife.
I was not able to photograph the couple on that island (a bit far for an engagement reportage, although you know I never say no to a trip!) nonetheless we found a lovely spot in Paris that resembled it very much. Industrial greenhouses from the 19th century are now the conservatory for a microcosm as exotic as the rainforest. The escape was total!
A gentle photoshoot as they strolled through moments of tamed wilderness, and lastly, a quick pause by a spot dear to all Parisians: the Bois de Boulogne. Two different worlds, one enclosed, the other one open to the sky, yet both offered everything our couple wanted: green, green…and more green!

A WEDDING DAY IN AN OLD FARMLAND
A wedding day free of pastoral fluff, decidedly genuine, held on the grounds of the old family farmland.
An antique photo booth, a charming anachronism inviting us into another era. The guests are creatively tattooed; humorously one wears a rib eye, another quaint field flowers and if you look closely, you may even spot a rhinoceros. The soon to be newlyweds strike poses alongside their ride, a tractor, decked out for the occasion. Wheat bouquets in hand, wooden pipes stuffed the sun betroths them. At every turn there is something new to see, not a detail without allure. We are invited to catch a glimpse.
A funky theme, a rock n’ roll couple, true to themselves, and an incredible farmer’s theme with cows, pigs, rabbit and groovy guests all in their natural environments! Magical!

A TEA CEREMONY IN SOUTH OF FRANCE
Une belle journée de mariage dans le sud de la France sous un soleil de plomb (normal, c’était à Nice…). Un mariage qui a divinement mis en avant le mélange des cultures et traditions franco-chinoises.
Apres un passage à la mairie très émouvant pour officialiser leurs union, S&Y ont décidés de proposer une cérémonie laïque plus personnalisée en intégrant une tradition cher au pays du soleil levant: la fameuse cérémonie du thé. Un beau moment de partage ou les futurs mariés rendent hommages aux parents en leurs offrant du thé (c’est un résumé très succinct hein!!!). Une découverte pour moi qui aime tant apprendre des autres cultures. La cérémonie et les discours tous traduits du français au chinois donnaient l’impression d’être dans un lieu parallèle et exotique.
Une journée qui s’est terminé en beauté pour nos amoureux de danse qui ont swingés jusqu’au bout de la nuit…
LOOKING FORWARD BECOMING A BIG BROTHER
Je connais en fait cette famille depuis bien longtemps. P est un ami de longue date de mon ancienne vie en tant qu’architecte.
Nous avions prévu de nous retrouver pour faire une petite séance en famille depuis quelques mois (un joli cadeau pour la fete des pères!!)… Le temps a filé et un heureux événement est arrivé entre temps… La séance photo a donc évolué d’une séance photo à trois à une séance à bientôt quatre…
Le grand frère plus qu’impatient de rencontrer le nouveau membre de la tribu était survolté pendant la séance qui fut plus qu’énergique et qui laisse de beaux souvenirs de famille juste avant l’arrivée de bébé (qui a pointé le bout de son nez seulement quelques jours après)!!!
Je suis impatiente de les retrouver prochainement pour faire connaissance du petit dernier et de refaire une jolie séance à quatre cette fois ci 🙂

A ROCK’N’ROLL WEDDING IN A GARDEN
Que diriez-vous d’un mariage rock’n’roll avec une mariée en veste en cuir, un marié en Stansmith et une ambiance relax sans chichis ou l’on se sent comme à la maison? Eh bien, vous avez de la chance car le mariage de C+J était comme cela et c’était super!!
C&J voulaient une journée pas conventionnelle à la cool qui leurs ressemble: une cérémonie laïque personnalisée avec le beau rituel de la bouteille de vin, un quart d’heure de danse dans l’après midi, pas de diner assis et une ambiance bon enfant ou l’on s’amuse. La décoration très bien pensée, mélange de DYI et objets de récup, a été réalisée quasi dans sa totalité par la mariée et son équipe de choc (chapeau bas pour cela!!!) offrant une ambiance champêtre avec des touches rock’n’roll…
Lunettes funcky, perfecto, bulles de savon & rocknroll forever!!!
